I'm sorry that the story did not post. I'm not sure what happened. So, about why I wanted to kill my husband. Well, it is kind of a long story, but I will try to keep it short. Dave has been on this kick lately about cutting costs and finding new ways to save money. Unfortunately I think he has turned into a Democrat, by doing things the socialist way! Sorry if you are a Democrat. Lol!
He decided in December to change our Internet and Cable from Comcast to Qwest. No problem other than we had to change our emails and lost our whole email address book! Then in January he decided that we could save more money if we switched the cable to Direct TV. Not so cool as now we have a lovely dish on the corner of our roof! They are not good during wind storms either. Then he found out we could save a couple of dollars if we had Direct TV billed through Qwest. Well, it seemed easy enough. But some how in the translation, Qwest thought we wanted to cancel everything! So the day Dave and I left for Costa Rica they shut everything off! Phone, Internet, and the dish. It would not have been such a big deal, but we left Jaimie and Dallin home alone. They were not happy with us. They thought that Dave did it on purpose! Which I thought was funny, they didn't know their dad that well. He would never have thought to do that. He had to many games recording while we were gone. So finally I told Dallin to say he was Dave and call Quest. I know that was not a good example to him, but the desperation in his voice was scaring me. So he got it turned back on the day we came home!!!! Yeah for us! Well, the latest cost saving Dave did, was he switched our phones to Vonage. It will save us about $50.00 he said. Well 3 days later our phones were turned off because Qwest turned off our Internet and Vonage goes through the DSL. Okay, now I am really mad. I had work to do on the Internet!!! I told him he had better have it back on by the end of the day. Well Qwest does not work that way!! 3 days later Dave finally phoned a friend that worked at Qwest, and he was able to get it turned back on the next morning. I know it is pretty sad how dependant I have become on all these technical things. It was funny however, when I was really complaining one day, Dallin said, "now you know what we went through for 6 days"! No sympathy there. Well that's the story. I have now band Dave from trying to save money by switching things around like that.

There is a really good story you're not telling us!!
Wow--sounds awful. Isn't it funny how dependent we are on all the stuff now?? 100 years ago nobody missed it, and now going 6 days without it is like torture. (I'm glad your kids got it back!!)
