Elder Maughan
I just looked at the calender and realized that Derek only has 8 more months left on his mission!! I can not believe it. Everyone told me how the time flyes by, but I didn't believe them. The first 6 months seemed like forever! He is doing really well. He is currently in Bath, New York. Which he has been there since November. It is the longest place he has sstayed. He was made the district leader about a month ago, which he was really scared about, but I am sure that he is doing a great job. I can not believe that he only has 8 more months....that went way fast. He seems, by just reading his e-mails, that he is quickly going from a boy to becoming a man. WOW things a mission can do for those young men.
That is amazing. I'm sure he is doing well as a DL. Missions are the most amazing thing!
