Kids still get up in the middle of the night!

Okay, I have no new pictures to share, however I just wanted all of my friends out there who have little ones that get up in the middle of the night, that it doesn't end when they get older, it just scares you more. I'm what they call an insomniac. I don't usually get to sleep until about 12:00 or 1:00am. However last night was an exception. I haven't been feeling to great, just the normal winter cold and sinus stuff. So I finally got to sleep when I heard someone get up and go to the bathroom. I made the big mistake of asking who was up? Jaimie answered "it's just me", well are you okay? Making sure she wasn't throwing up or anything. "Yes", came the reply. Good! Whew! Back to sleep, that is for about an hour when in a dream state I am hearing, "Mom, mom, MOM"! Okay, okay I am awake now! It's Jaimie. "What's wrong? There is an owl outside my window and it keeps going whowho! I can't sleep, can I sleep with you? NO! Go back to bed. Really mom I can't! Jaimie, it is just the wind. No it is not". So, to stop the argument I let her get in bed with me. Big mistake. Jaimie then started snoring! I have Dave on one side of me with his breathing machine and Jaimie on the other side sound asleep and snoring. I put up with it for about an hour, then I finally woke her up and told her to go back to her own bed. By the time I finally fell back asleep it was 4:30am. I still can not convinve Jaimie that it was the wind and not an owl. Lets hope for a better nights sleep tonight!

I've been hearing that darn owl too. What's the deal...ha ha! I think its the wind blowing around the fence? or...maybe there's- an- owl....yikes.

Actually I really did hear it, I think. Let Jaimie know that owls don't eat girls, only mice, and there are plenty with the nearby farm.

Yeah, kids DO still get up in the middle of the night. They don't cry when they're bigger (at least usually), but they still get up!! And it usually takes me forever to get back to sleep, too! :( Better luck tonight.
